Anthony E. (Tony) Clayton has 20 years of experience in the exportation of livestock and other agricultural products from the United States. Before establishing his own company, Mr. Clayton was employed by the Missouri Department of Agriculture as a Coordinator of International Marketing Program for seven (7) years. In this position, he was responsible for promotion and marketing of Missouri’s livestock industry to producers all over the world.

After leaving the Missouri Department of Agriculture, Mr. Clayton joined the staff of a private export company as Director of Market Development. During this tenure, Mr. Clayton was successful in exporting beef and dairy cattle, swine, sheep, goats and equine to countries such as Bahamas, Ecuador, Guatemala, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Taiwan, Thailand, Peru and the Philippines.

Clayton Agri-Marketing, Inc. is considered one of the leading livestock and agricultural exporters in the United States and has successfully exported live animals genetics and related agricultural equipment to 44 different countries.

RECENT EXPORTING ACCOMPLISHMENTS

January 2006-December 2006
*CAMI is recognized as the leading exporter of purebred swine genetics from the USA.  Shipments to China, South Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, Philippines and Vietnam have been successfully completed.

June 2005
*CAMI assisted Hermitage-NGT, Columbus, Nebraska to import 180 head of breeding swine from the country of Ireland for the establishment of an Hermitage franchise in the USA.

January 2004-December 2005
*CAMI was the largest exporter of purebred swine from the USA. Countries include China, Colombia, South Korea, Mexico, and the Philippines.

January-December 2003
*CAMI was the largest exporter of breeding swine genetics from the USA to China and South Korea.

*CAMI was the largest exporter of dairy goats from the USA to Mexico.

September, 2003
*CAMI successfully imported a shipment of Large White boars from Neuendorf Farming, Australia into the United States to introduce new genetics lines to breeders in the USA.

*CAMI successfully exported over 5,200 head of livestock to Asia and Latin America from the United States and Canada.

*CAMI exported over 1,000 head of breeding swine to the countries of China, Japan, Mexico and South Korea.

November – December 2002
*CAMI successfully delivered over 2,450 head of breeding goats to Mexico to new clients located in the State of Coahuila. The goats for this shipment were sourced from 22 states and three (3) provinces in Canada.

November 2002
CAMI successfully coordinated two shipments of breeding swine from Australia to the country Vietnam. This was the first export shipment of breeding swine ever made from Australia to Vietnam.

November 2001
*CAMI completed an export shipment of 1,345 head of breeding goats to the State of Sonora in Mexico. The government program through which our clients imported theses goats will assist more than 100 farmers in developing their local market. Goats were sourced from suppliers in Arkansas, Colorado, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Oklahoma, South Dakota and Wisconsin.

February – September 2001
*CAMI successfully delivered 235 head of breeding swine to Shanghai, China and 126 head of breeding swine to Shenzhen, China. These shipments are being used as the genetic foundation to build a 50,000 sows operation in southern and eastern China.

December 2000
*CAMI delivered the largest shipment of breeding swine from the USA ever made to Hanoi, Vietnam. This shipment of 134 head was delivered on a 737 charter directly into Hanoi. It was divided between a research institute and a private farm. This shipment joined our first shipment made to Ho Chi Minh City in late November.

December 2000
*CAMI completed an export shipment of 960 head of breeding goats to the State of Sonora in Mexico. The government program through which our clients imported theses goats will assist more than 400 farmers in developing their local market. Goats were sourced from suppliers in Arkansas, Colorado, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri and Wisconsin.

*Became marketing arm of Truline Premium Pork program, coordinating its current marketing base as well as arranging the transportation and slaughter of hogs within the program. Truline Premium Pork is a franchise production and marketing program of high quality pork and pork products.

July 8, 1998
*Successfully delivered charter C-130 airplane with 233 head of breeding swine from the USA via Singapore to the City of General Santos on the Island of Mindanao in the Philippines.

May 1, 1996-March 31, 2006
*Employed by the National Swine Registry, West Lafayette, Indiana as International Marketing Director for promotion of purebred Duroc, Yorkshire, Hampshire and Landrace breeds exported from the United States.
